What to expect:

  • You will notice that we sing several songs during our worship to God.  Everyone sings as an expression of their genuine love for God. We do not use instruments in worship.  We simply use our voices and our hearts (Ephesians 5:19) to offer praise to God and to teach and admonish one another (Colossians 3:16).
  • We pray every time we are together (Acts 12:5).  We offer prayers of praise and thanksgiving, in addition to praying for God's guidance and for healing of the sick.  A brother in Christ will lead our thoughts, and we each pray from our hearts to our living, loving God.  (Matthew 6:9; 1 Timothy 2:1; James 5:13)
  • Every Sunday we observe a memorial to Christ, referred to as the Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7).  This is a time to specifically focus on Jesus’ death on the cross, the salvation He offers and to proclaim His death until He comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Luke 22:19-20).
  • We give a voluntary offering to the Lord each Sunday (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).  This is done by passing a collection plate throughout the assembly.  As our guest you are not expected to give, but you may certainly participate if you wish.
  • We hear a lesson from God’s Word (Acts 20:7; 2 Timothy 2:2; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Peter 2:2).  The Bible is the foundation of our lives.  We read from it every time we are together.  The sermons are taken directly from Scripture with a focus on practical application in our daily lives.

‚Äč We work to make our services spiritually uplifting and edifying.  Our aim is to honor God, remember our Lord, spread the gospel and encourage one another to be more godly.  If you have any questions about our worship or teachings we invite you to ask as you visit or contact us at a more convenient time.
